Learn to Surf at Coolangatta on the Gold Coast

Take a surfing lesson from a professional at the Gold Coast's Coolangatta Beach. Get outfitted in all necessary gear, receive a safety briefing, and dive in. Learn the basics of catching waves and start with a soft beginner surfboard. Experience the thrill of standing up by the end of your first lesson. Date: various dates available (select during purchase). Time: 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Duration: 2 hours. Location: Marine Parade at Kirra Beach, Coolangatta, Gold Coast. Age requirement: 18+. Please note: not recommended for those who are pregnant or have back problems. This experience will have a maximum of 7 people. For this event, all sales are final and tickets can't be refunded, changed or modified. Experience an exciting 2 hour surf lesson at the famous Kirra Beach, Coolangatta. You'll join one of Australia's favourite surf schools, that has been teaching people to surf since 1987, and enjoy expert guidance from your instructor. After a safety briefing and basic guidance, you'll begin catching some small waves in waist deep water and then return to the beach for more detailed instruction about how to stand up on your surfboard.
