It’s 1969, and two broke, out-of-work actors are living in a freezing, filthy London flat, surviving on booze, cigarettes and increasingly questionable decisions. Instead, they find relentless rain, no food, hostile locals and a weekend that quickly spirals into complete disaster. Darkly funny, endlessly quotable and brilliantly strange, Withnail and I has become one of Britain’s most-loved cult films. Richard E. Grant is unforgettable as the outrageous Withnail in a story of friendship, failure and the messy end of an era. If you’ve never seen it, this is the perfect way to discover it. If you have, you already know why it deserves another watch on the big screen. Kitchen open from 5:30 pm. Film starts at 6:30 pm. Tickets: Concession: $12, Standard: $15.

Shape Shifters by Sharon Muir
In Shape Shifters I am exploring the transformative and energetic presence of plants, using watercolour to evoke their capacity to evolve into new forms. For more than a decade, my art practice has been immersed in the botanicals of the Northern Rivers region, evolving from detailed observations of nature's forms, to discovering the less tangible aspects of plant life. Plants are not static, they are in constant motion, shifting through cycles of growth, decay, and renewal, and I seek to capture this process of metamorphosis and the energy fields that extend and communicate beyond a plant's physical structure. Through watercolour, I translate these unseen transformations into colourful forms. The fluid washes and layered transparencies echo the way a plant's aura might shift, dissolve, and reappear, revealing glimpses of their mutable essence and unique presence in time and space. In this way, plants become shape shifters, beings that move between states, from the visible to the invisible.

A Doll’s House
Marriage, secrets, and the courage to break free. Ibsen’s A Doll’s House is a timeless story of self-discovery, courage, and the fight for independence. Witness the sparks fly as Nora confronts societal expectations, personal betrayal, and the cost of true liberation. Bold, provocative, and deeply moving, this production invites audiences to explore what it means to step out of the shadows and claim one’s own life. A riveting classic with relevance for every generation—where every choice carries consequence, and every voice deserves to be heard. Synopsis: In this groundbreaking 19th-century drama, Nora Helmer appears to lead a happy, idyllic life with her devoted husband, Torvald. But beneath the surface of domestic bliss, secrets and societal pressures weigh heavily on her. When a past decision threatens to unravel her carefully constructed world, Nora faces a powerful choice that challenges conventions, marriage, and the very definition of freedom. Characters: Nora Helmer – a cheerful and devoted wife who realizes her need for independence. Torvald Helmer – Nora’s husband, paternalistic and obsessed with social reputation. Kristine Linde – Nora’s old school friend, a widow, who serves as a foil to Nora. Dr. Rank – A family friend of the Helmers, terminally ill and secretly in love with Nora. Nils Krogstad – A lawyer, morally ambiguous, desperate to protect his reputation. Anne-Marie – The nanny, devoted and practical, traditional maternal values. The Children – Nora and Torvald’s children appear briefly on stage but are never named individually.
