Directions

Join GCPA teacher, Potter and Ceramic Artist, Porsche Owen, for a gas kiln tutorial. Bring along glazed bisque fired work for loading into a one-day gas (reduction) firing. See how the kiln operates and spend the day in the studio creating while you wait for the firing to conclude. Learn how the reduction atmosphere of a gas firing influences the finish of your work. Members wishing to hire the gas kiln need to do this workshop and one other supervised firing/workshop before hiring. Sunday 15 November 2026. 9am to 5pm. Tea, coffee and a light morning tea are provided. Please bring your own lunch or you can purchase something from the nearby Benowa Gardens shopping centre.
