Glenn’s career has spanned hospitality, food and leadership, with storytelling now becoming an important part of how he reflects on and shares those experiences. It was this perspective, and his understanding of what restaurants and their people contribute to a city, that led Sam to invite him to write one of the forewords for Chefs Eat Brisbane. Using the book as a jumping-off point, Sam and Glenn will discuss Brisbane’s evolving dining scene, what its restaurants reveal about the city at this moment in time and the relationships, personalities and experiences that exist beyond the plate. Books will be available for purchase, or bring your copy from home to be signed. Presented as part of the Lord Mayor’s Writers in Residence series.
