The Ring in Concert [BRISBANE]
Experience the groundbreaking psychological horror classic accompanied by a live orchestra performance of Hans Zimmer’s chilling score, conducted by Sarah-Grace Williams. TEG Dainty and Paramount Pictures present The Ring in Concert, a live-to-picture orchestral event coming to Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne this October and November. Gore Verbinski’s genre-defining film plays on the big screen while a full orchestra performs Zimmer’s haunting music in perfect sync – every unsettling note landing with new intensity. The story follows journalist Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts), drawn into a terrifying investigation after the mysterious death of a teenage girl. At the centre of it all: a videocassette filled with disturbing images, and a phone call that follows every viewing – a voice whispering a single warning. Seven days. In the original soundtrack liner notes, Hans Zimmer describes his minimalist, disquieting approach as the engine of the film’s creeping dread. Heard live, that score gains a visceral, physical presence – deepening the atmosphere in ways a cinema speaker system simply cannot replicate. First released by DreamWorks Pictures in 2002, The Ring reshaped modern horror and endures as one of the most influential psychological thrillers ever made. This is your chance to experience it in an entirely new dimension.

ROWENA WISE & her band - Bad Things Feel Good* Album Launch Brisbane
Presented by Double J, Beloved Records & Remote Control Records: This October and November, Rowena Wise takes her full band on the road across Australia to support her sophomore album, Bad Things Feel Good*. The record is a tender, point-blank look at the pain of transformation and what it means to be flesh and blood — from Melbourne to Brisbane, Sydney to Hobart and beyond. Written over two years of near-constant touring and recorded live over three days at The Ratshack in Collingwood with producer Rob Muinos (Julia Jacklin, Didirri), the album traces heartbreak, estrangement, and the knottier growing pains of adulthood through candid poetic lyricism and a raw live production. The songs hold space rather than demand attention, and live, they hit even harder. Since debuting in 2018, she has amassed over 10 million streams, earned airplay across triple j, Double j and Unearthed, and toured extensively across Australia, the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada, supporting artists including Holy Holy, Ball Park Music, Bernard Fanning and Paul Dempsey. Her 2024 debut album, Senseless Acts of Beauty, was praised by CLASH Magazine as “carefully etched indie folk” and shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize. Her highly anticipated sophomore album, Bad Things Feel Good*, a tender, point-blank meditation on transformation, is out August 7, 2026 via Beloved Records. "Carefully etched indie folk" — CLASH Magazine. "Fragrant introspection" — FLOOD. Supported by Double J

The Rubens (AUS) With Selve
The Rubens are heading back on the road for their sixth studio album, Group Therapy, heading to 25+ cities across Australia in 2026/27. It's the sound of a band going full circle. After experimenting with synths and autotune on 2024's SODA, Group Therapy sees The Rubens return to their roots - guitar-driven, recorded live in the room, and made with a mindset of getting it right the first time rather than fixing it later. Produced once again by Konstantin Kersting (Spacey Jane, DMAs, Genesis Owusu), this time working alongside the band in person at their Camden studio, it's their most authentic record in years. The album takes its name, in part, from lead singer Sam Margin's own journey through sobriety and therapy during the making of the record - and the idea that music, at its best, is a shared experience. "How do people often experience music? Together," says keyboardist Elliott Margin. "Live shows are our favourite part of being in a band. That's pretty much group therapy for us." Fans have already had a taste of the record with singles "Goanna," "Are You Getting High" and "Love Me America" - the latter a sprawling, guitar-driven love letter to America inspired by the band's earliest, wide-eyed trips to the US as a young band courted by major labels. Following five studio albums that have each debuted in the ARIA Top 5, and singles like "Never Ever," "Live in Life" and "Hoops" going triple-Platinum, The Rubens' Group Therapy Tour is the sound of a band, fifteen years in, still finding new things to say.

Courtney Barnett (AUS) With Drifting Clouds
Grammy-nominated, multiple ARIA Award-winning trailblazer Courtney Barnett will take her Creature Of Habit Tour across the East Coast this November, more than four years since her last Australian tour. Known for a performance that’s part intimate storytelling, part indie rock, with bursts of raw grunge-like energy, Courtney Barnett live is genuine and authentic. Released in March, Creature Of Habit is the anticipated new album from the indie trailblazer. It’s a bold, emotionally resonant record that explores the central question: how to get out of your own way so you can truly feel your life. With singles ‘Stay in Your Lane’, and ‘Site Unseen (feat. Waxahatchee)’ setting the tone, the album marks a decisive new chapter in Courtney Barnett’s musical evolution. Courtney took to the stage at Manchester’s Radio 6 Music Festival last month, launching Creature Of Habit to widespread acclaim. She also delivered a powerful live rendition of ‘Mantis’ for US television’s CBS Mornings’ Saturday Sessions. With Creature Of Habit, Courtney Barnett reaffirms her place as one of the most compelling voices in modern rock; unafraid to confront uncertainty, embrace vulnerability, and transform it into something deeply human and electrifying. Courtney will bring her new record and extensive catalogue to life with performances in some of Australia’s premiere venues this November, transforming each track into a dynamic, shared experience that resonates long after the final note.

Dance Gavin Dance (USA) With The Fall of Troy & Galleons
Sacramento post-hardcore mainstays Dance Gavin Dance have announced an Australian headline tour for this November, joined by special guests and fellow post-hardcore veterans The Fall of Troy and Australian-led rockers Galleons. Formed in Sacramento, California in 2005, Dance Gavin Dance - comprised of vocalist/guitarist Andrew Wells, co-vocalist Jon Mess, guitarist Will Swan and drummer Matthew Mingus - have long stood as one of alternative music’s most distinctive acts. A powerhouse of alternative music; true originals and originators alike, Dance Gavin Dance craft an exhilarating cacophony of sounds and disparate styles that harmonises everything from funk through metalcore to post-hardcore, pop sensibilities colliding with progressive, kaleidoscopic song structures. With four Billboard 200 Top 15 albums to their name, millions of records sold, billions of streams, and one of the most devoted fanbases in modern heavy music, Dance Gavin Dance are as at home on the world’s most famous stages as they are hosting their own culture-defining annual festival, Swanfest. As the esteemed Rock Sound magazine attests: "There is no band on earth like Dance Gavin Dance." Joining the Cali legends on the Australian run are The Fall of Troy, a musical force that has been pushing the boundaries of math rock since their formation in 2002. Hailing from Mukilteo, Washington, the band first made waves with their 2005 album Doppelgänger, which showcased their signature blend of technical proficiency and energy. Over the years, The Fall of Troy has continued to evolve, exploring new territory and challenging the very notions of time and structure. With each new release, they have cemented their place as one of the most innovative and daring bands in the world of math rock. Completing the bill are Galleons, a band born out of a transcontinental collaboration between Australian and Eastern European musicians with a sound that effortlessly blends post-hardcore and math rock with a multitude of adjacent and disconnected genres. In the last decade Galleons has done their very best to solidify their place in the heavy music scene while collaborating with prominent musicians from iconic post-hardcore and alternative bands. Their captivating energy and love for the genre continues in its attempts to push boundaries and redefine what post-hardcore means to them and others.
Charlotte Le Lievre – Mixtape Sessions @ Studio 188 – MELT Festival 2026
Charlotte Le Lievre writes songs that cut deep — honest, raw, and grounded in real life. With a voice that’s equal parts vulnerable and commanding, her music pulls from early country and folk traditions to make sense of grief, joy, resistance, and the stories we carry. Charlotte’s debut album, Songs from the Barrier Line (2023), made an immediate impact, debuting at #4 on the ARIA Australian Country Album Chart and #3 on the AIR (Australian Independent Record Labels Association) Album Chart. The album was featured on Bandcamp’s Best Country Music list for March 2023, and earned nominations for Contemporary Folk Album of the Year at the Australian Folk Music Awards and Best Country Work at the Music Victoria Awards. Renowned for her captivating live performances, Charlotte has shared stages with Jimbo Mathus (USA), The Burning Hell (CAN), and C.W. Stoneking, and has appeared at leading festivals across Australia, including Out on the Weekend (VIC), Woodford Folk Festival (QLD), Nannup Music Festival (WA), The Town Folk Festival (VIC), Dorrigo Folk and Bluegrass Festival (NSW), NewFarm NewCountry Festival (WA) and Nundle Rocks (NSW). She is currently working on her sophomore album, Grief Knows No Borders, planned for release in February 2027. The first two singles off the album Tamworth Lights (Oct 2025) and I Yearn To Love Someone (Feb 2026), were both added to high rotation on ABC Country and received widespread national and International radio play. “Charlotte Le Lievre’s voice hits the heart in the unique tradition of country singers.” – Chris Lambie, Rhythms Magazine. Windwaker (AUS) With The Pretty Wild (USA), RinRin & DREGG
Australia's genre-bending Windwaker are thrilled to announce their ‘smile, you're on camera' Australian headline tour for October/November where they'll be joined by special guests and first time visitors The Pretty Wild, as well as RinRin and DREGG. "We are so excited to bring our new album to life on stages all around Australia," says Windwaker vocalist Liam Guinane. "We've poured so much into this record, and we can't wait to play these songs live for the very first time. We're also so stoked to be bringing out The Pretty Wild for their Australian debut, along with a couple of our favourite Aussie artists. We hope to see you all there." The tour will begin just a week after the release of smile, you're on camera, a record that stands as the soundtrack to Windwaker's journey since HYPERVIOLENCE. Described as their most honest release yet, smile, you're on camera sees Windwaker channel the challenges and triumphs of the past few years. The band teased this new chapter with “victory lap” and “click” (with RinRin), heightening anticipation for what's to come. Co-written in Los Angeles with the band and Daniel Braunstein (Spiritbox, Dayseeker), new single “closer” opens with strobe-flashes of neon synths and a hypnotic drumbeat, giving way to open-hearted melodies. The crunch of power chords ignites a chantable chorus, with a crushing breakdown - in true Windwaker style - that caps it all off. Watch the video here. Joining Windwaker on their Australian headline tour are Las Vegas sisters The Pretty Wild, bringing their unpredictable mix of metal, hard rock and electronics to Australian audiences for the very first time. Their audacious spirit creates an electrifying force that defies convention. The Pretty Wild captivates audiences hungry for something different, singing of disillusionment, the struggles of the industry, and the pursuit of authenticity beyond social constructs. 'click." collaborator RinRin also joins the bill. Fusing hyperpop with alt-pop, alt-metal and pop punk, the Filipino-born, Australian-based artist has carved out a lane entirely her own. Since emerging in 2020, RinRin has shared stages with The Plot In You, Scene Queen, Caskets, and The Home Team, while also joining Walk Off The Earth for a six-city arena tour across China. Opening all shows except Perth are fellow Melburnians and Fearless Records labelmates DREGG. Known for their high-energy fusion of metal, hardcore and rap, their music, visuals, and over-the-top personas serve as a satirical lens on modern culture. Blending shock value with deeper commentary, DREGG encourages fans to embrace their inner weirdos and challenge societal norms through unapologetic self-expression.
