40 years of Blackwater and The Orient Hotel

Come join the band to celebrate 40 years of friendships and fun times on Black Friday remembering The Orient Hotel and the great live music of Brissy's heyday with a performance by BLACKWATER. Also DJ Muzza will be spinning some vinyl and old school Brizvegas bands to warm everyone up. Blackwater started in 1986. The band started playing at The Orient Hotel in the late 80's and are a full original blues rock fusion band. The Cave Inn show will be a celebration of not only their longevity but also the life long friendships forged in and around the Brisbane community. 40 years of making music together is something that will be celebrated in a way that is very rare amongst musicians and bands. The same three men, sharing the stage for 40 years! Get Down! But there is more! For the first time in over 40 years, their great mate DJ Muzza will be warming up the crowd spinning Brisbane only bands tunes from 7pm. Murry was a key part of Blackwater's beginnings having staged The Cave Dweller Balls in the late 80's and early 90's as well. The Cave Inn is 18+, minors welcome with a parent. There are accessible bathrooms and no stairs to enter and view the live performances.
