Ahead of Remembrance Day, we’re bringing our knitting and crochet community together to make handmade poppies. Some will become part of a special display at the club, while others will be turned into poppy brooches sold to raise funds for our veteran community. Join our weekly Poppy Circle every Wednesday from 10am to 12pm, starting 16 September and running through to 28 October. We’ll provide the pattern and wool; just bring your 4mm knitting needles or 4mm crochet hook. Additionally, Amy from Nana Sport will join us on Wednesday 23 September from 10am to 12pm for a dedicated session on the poppy pattern for both knitting and crochet, best suited to those already comfortable with the basics. Located in The Cove.
