Directions

Into the Grey explores the charged space between memory, mystery, and the open road. Rooted in the stark visual language of colour or monotone, these experimental works present landscapes where clarity dissolves and the horizon refuses to explain itself. Each image centres on a road slipping away into distance - a quiet invitation to step into the unknown, where the destination is deliberately withheld. Opening event: Saturday October 17th, 5:00pm – 8:00pm. Where: Field Trip Gallery, 1 Latrobe Tce, Paddington, Brisbane, Queensland 4064. Show runs: October 8th – October 14th, 2026. Viewing hours: Thursday 10:00am – 4:00pm (installing, however Al invites punters to come through), Friday 10:00am – 8:00pm, Saturday 10:00am – 4:00pm, Sunday 10:00am – 2:00pm, Monday closed, Tuesday 10:00am – 4:00pm, Wednesday 10:00am – 2:00pm.
