Digger

From four-time Academy Award-winning auteur Alejandro González Iñárritu comes the politically charged satire DIGGER, an outrageous dark comedy that follows the most powerful man in the world, Digger Rockwell, and his frantic mission to prove he is humanity's saviour. Digger Rockwell, an eccentric billionaire oil tycoon, spends his days in extravagance and wealth with no care for the cost his oil drilling business has on the world around him. However, when an environmental catastrophe caused by his negligence comes to light, he begins a desperate campaign to show the world that he is their unlikely saviour before the disaster destroys everything. Filled with breathtaking production design, transformative makeup and costuming, and explosive performances from Sandra Hüller, Jesse Plemons, Riz Ahmed and John Goodman, DIGGER is an ingenious commentary on the current world we live in, complete with stage-worthy grandeur and spectacle.
