Come and enjoy kids’ activities, education and demonstrations, guided tours of the Shelter, a Doggy Kissing Booth, a charity sausage sizzle, and a coffee van. The SCARS Market will also be open for a special day of sales. ‍As part of the Open Day we will be running our silly Dog Plop Jackpot. Purchase a ticket for a square of land in our dog yard and if one of our rescue dogs plops on your land you will win the jackpot – 20% of the ticket sales. Help us sell all 100 squares of land to raise vital funds for our rescue cats and dogs and make the jackpot reach $10,000! Purchase your Dog Plop Jackpot ticket here: ‍* We look forward to welcoming visitors of all ages, but please note that this will not be an event for family pets to attend. They will be invited back for Santa Paws later this year.
