Tennessee Williams’ timeless masterpiece, A Streetcar Named Desire, comes to Byron Theatre in a powerful new production by Bangalow Theatre Company. When Blanche DuBois arrives in New Orleans seeking refuge with her sister Stella, she finds herself drawn into a volatile clash with Stella’s husband, Stanley Kowalski. As tensions mount and long-buried secrets come to light, Blanche’s carefully constructed world begins to crack. Raw, haunting and intensely human, A Streetcar Named Desire explores desire, identity, power and the fragile line between illusion and reality.
